BuzzStar, LLC (“BuzzStar,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all users of our app, which connects fans with celebrities. We have zero tolerance for any form of child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE), including the creation, distribution, or possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This CSAE Policy outlines our approach to preventing, detecting, and responding to such activities on our platform.

1. Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to:

Prevent the use of BuzzStar for any activities related to child sexual abuse or exploitation.

Protect minors and all users from harm.

Comply with applicable laws, including but not limited to the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), 18 U.S.C. § 2251 et seq., and other federal and state regulations.

Provide clear guidelines for users, employees, and partners regarding prohibited conduct and reporting mechanisms.

2. Scope

This policy applies to:

All users of the BuzzStar app, including fans, celebrities, and administrators.

All employees, contractors, and third-party partners associated with BuzzStar, LLC.

All content uploaded, shared, or transmitted through the app, including text, images, videos, live streams, and direct messages.

3. Definitions

Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Any visual depiction, including photographs, videos, or digital images, of sexually explicit conduct involving a minor (a person under 18 years of age), as defined by 18 U.S.C. § 2256.

Child Exploitation: Any activity that involves the sexual abuse, coercion, grooming, or trafficking of minors, including attempts to solicit or engage minors in inappropriate conduct.

Minor: Any individual under the age of 18.

4. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited on BuzzStar:

Creating, uploading, sharing, or possessing CSAM.

Engaging in or promoting the sexual exploitation of minors, including grooming, solicitation, or coercion.

Posting or transmitting content that depicts or encourages harm to minors, including explicit or suggestive imagery or language.

Attempting to contact minors for inappropriate or illegal purposes through the app’s messaging, live streaming, or other features.

Any behavior that violates applicable laws related to child protection or exploitation.

5. Prevention Measures

BuzzStar implements the following proactive measures to prevent CSAE:

Age Verification: Users must verify they are at least 13 years old to create an account, in compliance with COPPA. Additional verification may be required for celebrity accounts or specific features.

Content Moderation: Automated tools, including AI-based image and text recognition, scan uploaded content for potential CSAM or exploitative material. Flagged content is reviewed by trained human moderators.

User Reporting: A prominent reporting feature allows users to flag inappropriate content or behavior directly within the app.

Education: We provide resources and guidelines to users, including celebrities, about maintaining a safe and appropriate online presence.

6. Detection and Response

Monitoring: BuzzStar employs a combination of technology and human oversight to detect CSAE-related activities.

Investigation: Any reported or flagged content is promptly investigated by our Trust & Safety team. Suspected CSAM is immediately escalated for review.

Action: If CSAE activity is confirmed, we will:

Permanently suspend the offending account(s).

Remove all associated content from the platform.

Preserve evidence as required by law for law enforcement purposes.

Legal Reporting: BuzzStar complies with mandatory reporting obligations under U.S. law, including submitting reports to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) via the CyberTipline when CSAM is identified.

7. Consequences for Violations

Users found to violate this policy will face immediate account termination and may be banned from the platform permanently.

BuzzStar reserves the right to cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations, including providing user data as required by legal process.

Employees or contractors who violate this policy will face disciplinary action, up to and including termination, and may be reported to authorities.

8. User Responsibilities

All users, including fans and celebrities, are expected to:

Refrain from posting or engaging in any CSAE-related activities.

Report suspected violations immediately using the in-app reporting tools.

Comply with BuzzStar’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, which reinforce this policy.

9. Reporting Mechanisms

In-App Reporting: Users can report content or behavior via the “Report” button available on profiles, posts, messages, and live streams.

External Reporting: Users are encouraged to report suspected CSAM directly to NCMEC or local law enforcement.

10. Policy Updates

BuzzStar may update this policy as needed to reflect changes in laws, technology, or platform features. Users will be notified of significant updates via the app or email.
